Debt Free Christian Living
Many Christians believe that debt free Christian living means you can't have any debt at all, whatsoever. But in this day and age, that's nearly impossible to do. First of all, you'd have to rent forever, never being able to own a house--unless you're independently wealthy or win the lottery or something. And most of the time these days, incomes don't keep up with the cost of living. Especially with housing costs on the rise, gas prices going up, and even milk being a dollar a gallon more than it was in the 80s.
But some Christians know that it's okay to incur debt that protects your family. For instance, a mortgage is debt incurred to give your family a home. And if your credit card debt is due to buying groceries and gas, not buying iPods and swimming pools, then you're probably good--if credit is the only way you can afford to buy these necessities. And that's the case for all too many consumers--and Christians!
How to Get Back to Debt Free Christian Living
If you've gone down the path of the debt-laden and want to get back to debt free Christian living, you're in luck! These days, there are as many debt relief companies as there are ways to get into debt. And a good portion of these companies are Christian debt management companies! So in addition to providing you with a debt management program to get you headed back in the right direction, they can provide you with spiritual guidance--and prayer, if you want it--to help you deal with your debt on an emotional level. They can also teach you techniques like budgeting and how to save so that once you become debt free, you can continue debt free living for the rest of your life! Who knows? You might even find you can budget enough to be able to tithe 10% to your church the way you want. Now that's debt free Christian living! (Or some semblance thereof.)
For some people, debt free Christian living seems natural. But for others, debt free Christian living is nearly impossible. For those people, help is available. Get it today!
